Mary Garrett has been “Moving people in” to their new homes for most of her career. She ventured out to work for a Non-Profit for a few years and then made her way back to help people find their new place to call home. She has worked for some of the largest management companies in Apartments, Manufactured housing and New Construction Homes. She is very excited to Welcome everyone Home at The Whitcomb.
Mary hails from Louisiana but don’t expect to hear the southern drawl. She said she left it down there, but she does still have the Southern Hospitality. Mary loves to travel and it usually involves a beach in search of a sunset. This makes St Joseph and The Whitcomb a perfect place for her.

Heather joined the Whitcomb family in the spring of 2018 after 20 years in the hospitality industry at Lake Michigan College Mendel Center where she planned and organized social events and led a team of senior volunteers. She is looking forward to managing activities which engage the residents through socialization in order to make everyday their best day.
Director of Housekeeping, Laundry and First Impressions
Amy joined the Whitcomb 17 years ago. Amy absoutley loves the elderly and treats the residents like family. She is the Director of Housekeeping/Laundry and the Front Desk Manager.
Director Of Maintenance
James has been in the maintenance field for over 15 years. He has been at the Whitcomb in maintenance for 11 years and became the Director of Maintenance in 2017. James is dearly loved by many residents and puts all of the residents needs first.
